TPA is excited to offer our community fun, inclusive productions!
A relaxed performance is a production designed specifically for an inclusive audience, perfect for young children and those with disabilities! Please note that certain accommodations will be implemented to make ALL audience members feel comfortable. Such changes are:
- Reduced time - One hour run, NO INTERMISSION
- Reduced Volume - Recorded accompaniment and lower levels of sound
- Limited Surprises - Nothing BIG or SCARY will pop out on stage
- Safe Space - A warm and inviting space to go to in case you need to calm down or re-group
- Touch & Feel Station - An area in which young audience members can touch and feel interesting props/costumes beforehand
- Fidgets/Noise Cancelling Earphones - These items can be checked out for audience members with sensory specialties
- MOST IMPORTANTLY - Accepting Audience - Expectations of behavior are lowered as audience can come and go as needed and cheers/noises are completely acceptable!!!
