Do I have to be enrolled in Theater/Tech Theater in order to be involved in after school productions? - Nope! If you want to be an actor, all you have to do is show up to one of our afterschool seminars in order to reserve a spot for your audition. If you're interested in tech theater, show up to our first tech day, Monday August 29th, so you can learn about all of the rules and expectations.
When does after school theater start and end? - Tech/Theatre normally meet on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (sometimes Wednesdays depending on what work needs to be done) from 4:30pm to 5:45pm, although during tech week, which is closer to opening night, it will end much later, sometimes being at 8:00pm or 9:00pm.
What roles can I take in order to help out with the productions? - During normal tech theater meetings, you can assist with building props or building the set. During tech week, you can also be apart of the stage crew, who stay backstage during the shows and control the curtains, scrim, and moving certain props & set pieces.
